Trash Music Projects is a charity from the Scottish Borders.

TRASH aims to promote innovative music making activities for young people and adults, including those with special needs, excluded or hard to engage, by creating percussive music using large plastic barrels, tuned plastic pipe bat-phones, scaffolding metal-phones, wheel-cones and scrap-wood xylophones.

TRASH works with individuals in a group band context and also with groups in: nursery, school, youth, and special needs/integration settings

Currently they have a fine young performance band - so come and see them at a Festival near you.

We are actively seeking volunteers in the Scottish Borders through the initiatives created by the Scottish Executive. Drivers and those interested in helping with workshops are being actively sought.
