Ettrick Bridge

Alan Govan and Katie Forbes were working at Ettrick Bridge in the  Borders on the 4th with a group of young people from the village.  This is some shots of the performance for the parents. Two of the  local MP's, Michael Moore and Euan Robson, were at the hall to hold a  surgery for their constituents. They ended up being dragged into the  drumming group. Avril Nairn, the local youth worker, has photographs  to prove it. >> Photos

From John Allan, Manager, Family Support Team

"I just wanted to say thanks for organising the trash band workshop for us during the Easter holidays. The families who took part had a great time and feedback has been extremely positive: we even have one young man campaigning for me to start a trash band in his school!

The workers you sent were terrific and really contributed to the success of the whole day. As a result, my team now has improved links with several families and this can only be a good thing as we try to support them to address their difficulties on an ongoing basis. Thanks again, John"

On the 30th April Fin, Katie and Konwli spent the day with Tourettes Scotland at a special event they were holding in Perth. Good reports have been received about the day.

The Waste Aware Show at Castle Fraser, Aberdeenshire, 1st of May

TRASH'd, our performance group, and members of our teaching team, Katie and Knowli, driven by chairman John Spiteri, camped at Castle Fraser ready for an early start on the 1st. The response to the day has been terrific with a number of enquiries from schools and events up that way. How about this quote from their press release - " internationally acclaimed interactive music group ‘Trash Music'"
